STORZ MEDICAL Deutschland GmbH was founded on 30.9.2013. The foundation stone was laid back in 2005. STORZ MEDICAL AG’s subsidiary in Jena is active to this day in the field of non-invasive, innovative shock wave systems.
The site specialises in service and revision as well as in producing medical systems and components, among other things. In addition to services such as sales and order processing, Jena is also home to an important part of software development, an increasingly significant aspect in the further development of medical technology. As an authorised representative, the company represents another central role within the corporate group: the site is responsible for access to the EU market. Moreover, its quality management system is certified according to EN ISO 13485.
STORZ MEDICAL Deutschland GmbH currently employs over 20 people. New permanent jobs are in the pipeline for the current year.
The company also offers attractive openings for students at university and school, such as various internships or dissertation projects. Generally speaking, the subsidiary is growing, which is why there are always new job and career openings at the Jena site.
In September 2021, the team at the German site managed to move from previously rented premises to its new company building. The employees are distributed over a total area of around 1600 m² on three floors. The warehouse, service and production areas are located on the lower floor, while the two upper floors accommodate several offices and variable seminar rooms. The new and modern site provides the best conditions for sustainable use on all levels. Whether through the photovoltaic system on the roof, the sustainable green space concept, floor-to-ceiling windows or ergonomically designed workstations.
